Pro-Guide 3-Bank 12V 30-Amp On-Board Battery Charger

The Pro-Guide PGC-310 is a 3-bank on-board charger giving 30A total at 10A per output, rated IP68 with per-bank chemistry selection.

Each bank selects its own Lead Acid, AGM or Lithium profile independently, which is what allows mixed chemistries on one charger. That is increasingly the real situation: a lead-acid cranking battery alongside lithium trolling batteries. A charger with one global setting will either undercharge the lithium or overcharge the lead-acid.

Lithium Activation Mode supplies a brief voltage signal to wake a sleeping battery management system. A lithium battery whose BMS has shut down looks like an open circuit to an ordinary charger, which then refuses to start. Without activation, the battery cannot be recovered without another power source.

The intelligent algorithm periodically rechecks battery state while the charger stays connected rather than charging once and stopping. IP68 supports demanding onboard installation, the 110-120V AC input suits North American shore power, and protection covers over-voltage, over-current, short circuit, reverse polarity and over-temperature.
