Guest On-Board 5-Amp 1-Bank Battery Charger

The Guest On-Board 5A 1-Bank Battery Charger charges a single 12V flooded or AGM battery, rated IP67 and supplied prewired.

Five amps for one bank is the smallest charger in the Guest on-board range, for a starting battery or a small accessory bank. It maintains rather than recharges. A battery drawn down over a weekend will come back, but slowly, and a large house bank is outside what this is meant for.

Being prewired with in-line fuses removes the fusing decision from the installation, which is where DC wiring most often goes wrong. An unfused charger lead is a fire risk, and the fuse gets left out more often on small installations than large ones.

Five-stage digital charging manages the battery automatically from recharge through maintenance, with an LED status display. Wiring and battery-fault detection identify problems, an energy-saving maintenance mode reduces consumption, and IP67 shock-resistant construction suits fresh and saltwater use.
