Powerwinch Select 1,000 lb Winch with 6-Inch Crank

The Powerwinch Select 1,000 lb Winch with 6 in Crank Arm is the compact-handle version of the entry-capacity Select winch. It arrives assembled with a powder-coated steel frame and die-cast aluminum covers. Powerwinch specifies this model for freshwater trailer use.

The short crank is the reason to choose this version when space around the winch post is limited. It sweeps a smaller circle than the 8 in handle and turns quickly when you are taking up strap. Premium precision gearing and a dual-bolt crank coupling keep the manual pull controlled without adding a second speed.

A four-panel polyester strap with forged snap hook is supplied, and the built-in zerk fitting gives direct access for pawl and ratchet lubrication. Adjustable mounting helps the winch fit a range of trailer posts. When sizing a manual winch, compare its rating with the loaded weight of the boat, motor, fuel and gear, then browse more trailer winches if you need a different capacity or handle length.

• Compact crank sweep suits crowded winch-post layouts.
• Single-speed operation keeps loading simple.
• Dual-bolt coupling helps keep the handle secure.
• Included strap and forged hook are ready for trailer setup.
