Description

The Powerwinch Class 41 windlass takes the free-fall approach to anchoring, letting the anchor drop at speeds up to 300 feet per minute, roughly four times quicker than waiting on a powered descent. Helm-operated and fully automatic.

A stainless steel guidance system routes rope and chain smoothly and holds up over years of hard use, while the free-fall design means the motor doesn't draw battery power on the way down, leaving more charge for everything else running on board.

Have a look at the rest of our winches & anchor windlasses.

  • Fasteners run stainless throughout, so rust never complicates a future removal
  • Watertight seals add another barrier against corrosion
  • A one-piece motor plate transmits power cleanly and helps the gears last longer
  • Heat-treated, oil-impregnated gears run smoother and resist wear over time
  • Stainless steel drive shafts hold their performance year after year
  • A replaceable Rode-Glide keeps rope and chain moving cleanly below deck
  • A tapered back splice smooths the transition where rope meets chain
