Powerwinch Class 41' Helm-Operated Windlass

The Powerwinch Class 41 Helm-Operated Windlass is an automatic free-fall anchor windlass controlled from the helm. Free-fall lets the anchor drop at up to 300 feet per minute, up to four times faster than powering it down. It doesn't use battery power on the way down.

An ultra-smooth motor uses fewer amps on retrieval. A stainless steel rope and chain guidance system and a replaceable Rode-Glide channel the rode smoothly below deck. Powerwinch recommends a tapered back splice for a smooth rope-to-chain transition.

It's built with stainless steel fasteners and drive shafts, watertight seals and a one-piece motor plate. Heat-treated, oil-impregnated gears run smoother, resist corrosion and last longer.
