The Perko Stern Light is black polymer with a white lens, 7.5 inches overall, pre-wired with 3 feet of 16/3-SJO cable and 2 mile visibility.

A stern light shows white through 135 degrees astern, covering the arc the side lights do not. Together the three make a full 360 degrees so a vessel is visible and its heading readable from any direction. Being pre-wired with three feet of cable means the connection is made at a junction inside the boat rather than at the fitting itself, where water would eventually reach it.

The double contact socket takes 12, 24, 32 or 120 volt bulbs, so the same fitting suits almost any system, though the bulb is not included. SJO cable is oil resistant and rated for hard service, which is what a run through an engine space or a locker needs. Explore more navigation lights.
