The Performance Metals Flat Trim Tab Anode fits all large Mercury outboards and MerCruiser Alpha 1 Gen II and Bravo outdrives. It replaces Mercury 76214Q 5. The trim tab anode also helps fine-tune steering torque on many drives.

Performance Metals makes its Navalloy aluminum anodes to military specification MIL-DTL-24779, and they work in salt, brackish and fresh water. Each one has Performance Metals' patented red spot wear indicator, which shows at a glance when it's time for a replacement. Aluminum anodes protect in salt, brackish and fresh water, and they deliver more protection per pound than zinc.

A mounting bolt and installation instructions are included. Stick with one anode metal on a given drive or hull instead of mixing zinc and aluminum.
