The Pacer Black 2 AWG Battery Cable is a 100-foot spool of Type III finely stranded tinned copper, made in the USA.

Black 2 AWG serves the traditional-convention negative for battery banks, charging systems, inverter feeds and DC distribution. A hundred feet is the smaller quantity, with 250 feet available for a builder or a boat wiring several heavy circuits at once.

Fine strands make heavy cable easier to strip as well as to bend, which is where coarse cable causes trouble at this gauge. Coarse strands catch in a stripper and pull out of the bundle, leaving an end that will not seat squarely in a lug barrel.

A durable PVC jacket protects the conductor while keeping the pliability needed to install through enclosed compartments. Tinned copper resists corrosion and electrolysis, and the cable is manufactured in the USA. Explore more battery cable.
