The Onyx Kayak Fishing Vest in adult oversized is a foam vest in tan and gray, in 400D nylon oxford with zippered fleece-lined pockets.

Oversized is the larger of the two fits, and on a fishing vest that sizing has to allow for what goes underneath rather than just the wearer. A vest sized over a shirt will not close over a fleece and a shell in October, and a vest worn open holds nobody up.

The high foam back clears a high-back kayak seat rather than being pushed up the neck by it, with breathable mesh where the seat contacts the lower back. Neoprene shoulder pads stop the straps digging in through a long paddle, and six adjustment straps cinch the fit.

Storage is worked out for fishing: a large cargo pocket for a handheld radio or long-nose pliers, and a drop-down tray pocket that releases with one button and holds tackle behind a 2-inch elastic strap.
