Onyx Adult Universal Red Paddle Life Vest

Onyx built the Universal Paddle Vest around its flex-cut design for paddlers. The front foam is perforated and progressively tapered, so it gets thinner toward the edges and bends with your torso. This red adult universal size fits a 30 to 52 inch chest. It's a USCG-approved Type III PFD.

Thinner front foam means less bulk between your arms and the paddle shaft on every stroke. The back foam sits high to clear high-back kayak seats, and the lower back is breathable mesh that vents heat. The shell is 200 denier nylon Oxford, a tough fabric that stands up to sun, water and rough launches. The result is a contoured fit that's comfortable for hours.

Fit comes from six adjustment straps and neoprene-padded shoulders, which keep the vest snug without chafing. A large front pocket holds the small items you want within reach on the water. The low-profile, compact design also packs easily in a car or kayak hatch. If you need a specific size or a fishing layout, compare it with the rest of our life jackets and PFDs .
