Onyx 50 ft Commercial Rescue Throw Bag

The Onyx Commercial Rescue Throw Bag holds 50 feet of floating line for getting a line to someone in the water. You keep one end secured to the boat and throw the bag to the person, then pull them back aboard. It's an essential piece of safety gear on any boat.

The rope is 3/8 inch floating polypropylene with an 1,800 lb breaking strength. It pays out from the bag as it flies, so the line doesn't tangle. The bag is 600 denier coated polyester with vented mesh so it drains and dries.

Reflective material makes it easier to find at night, and an elastic loop holds a glowstick. A grab strap with buckle and an adjustable drawcord closure keep it ready. Use the stated dimensions as the fit check, especially when the same case family is offered in several lengths or capacities. Browse more marine rescue gear.
