OceanLED Sport S3166s RGBW Underwater LED Light

The OceanLED Sport S3166s is a full RGBW underwater light in alu bronze, giving 3,500 lumens with a 90 degree surface beam and a 20 degree side beam.

The dual beam is what separates this from lights that quote a bright figure and disappoint underwater. A wide 90 degree beam lights the surface area around the boat, and a focused 20 degree side beam drives light out through the water. Brightness alone does not penetrate water. Without focusing, output scatters within a few feet and the lit area stays small however many lumens are claimed.

RGBW means a white emitter alongside the red, green and blue rather than white mixed from the three, which gives a true white rather than a pale approximation. The full spectrum is available in between, so the light can be set to a specific color or run through the range.

Alu bronze is the correct housing material for a through-hull fitting on most hulls, resisting the corrosion and marine growth that afflict cheaper castings.
