Description

The OceanLED Discover Series D3 is a compact underwater light in Ultra White giving 700 lumens, rated IP69K with an isolation kit included.

The D3 is the entry point in the OceanLED range, for owners who want to see what underwater lighting does before committing to a top-tier fixture. Seven hundred lumens is modest against the 3,500 lumen Sport models, but on a small boat in clear water it is enough to produce the effect.

IP69K is a step beyond the IP68 industry standard, and the difference is specifically at the rear of the light where in-hull temporary submersion can occur. On a boat where rough seas occasionally flood the stern, a lesser-rated fixture is not built to survive that.

Compact dimensions suit tight mounting positions or a smaller hull where a larger fixture would not clear the space available. The optics give a wide 90 degree surface beam alongside a narrow elliptical side beam that penetrates deeper than an unfocused design. It can also be used above water where the installation calls for it. Explore more underwater lights.

  • The entry point in the OceanLED range
  • 700 lumens, against 3,500 on the Sport models
  • IP69K protects the rear against in-hull submersion
  • Compact enough for tight mounting positions
