The SafeSea S100 Search and Rescue Transponder (SART) is a dedicated radar transponder complying with IMO SOLAS regulations. It is designed for boaters who want superior battery life - even at -20°C - with a user-replaceable, non-hazardous battery on a five-year replacement interval.

This compact SART packs easily into a liferaft, supplied complete with a telescopic pole and storage bracket. It's required on all IMO SOLAS vessels on international voyages, nationally mandated vessels including fishing vessels and passenger craft, and many super/mega yachts covered by the MCA code of practice - voluntary-fit vessels benefit as well.
