NavPod SailPod Pre-Cut for Simrad NSS12 evo3

The NavPod SailPod is pre-cut for the Simrad NSS12 evo3 and B and G Zeus3 12, sized for a 9.5 inch wide guard.

Pre-cut is the whole point. The pod arrives with the aperture already machined to that display's exact bezel, so there is no template, no hole saw and no chance of an oversize cut on a mount that has to seal. It also means the pod only fits those two displays. Changing chartplotter brand later means changing the pod.

A SailPod mounts a single chartplotter or radar at the helm where it can be read and operated without leaning, which is the argument for a pod over a flush panel cut into the bulkhead. Wiring runs inside the pod and the guard tube rather than across the deck, so nothing is exposed to a sheet or a foot.

The seal is a double gasket, built for the spray and green water an offshore helm takes, and the screws are nickel chrome plated and tamperproof. It mounts on a single bend AngleGuard, or on the angled section of a double bend guard with an InstrumentPod above it. Explore more boat outfitting.
