Description
The NavPod AG118 pedestal guard is a 9.5 in wide single-bend stainless guard that fits all SailPods and SystemPods. It is made from 316 grade stainless steel. The guard frames and protects helm electronics mounted on a sailboat pedestal.
A single bend positions the pod where the helmsman can see and reach it. The polished tubing gives a clean marine look and resists corrosion. It also gives a handhold and protects the electronics from bumps.
Check the pod series, center-to-center width, and helm clearance before installation. Plan the power and data cable routes before final fastening so wires do not end up in sharp bends. Browse more Mounting & Rigging Hardware for other NavPod guards and mounts.
