Description

The Marinco PowerCord Plus is 25 feet of white 6-gauge 50A cord at 125/250V, with a threaded ring connection.

White is the only difference from the yellow version, and it is chosen where the cord is visible from the cockpit or across a marina and yellow would look industrial. The trade is real. Yellow is far easier to see underfoot on a dark dock, and a white cord picks up dirt and scuffs that a yellow one hides.

Nickel-plated contacts resist the corrosion that damp marine air causes at a 50 amp connection, where a corroded contact means resistance and heat. A molded-in LED at the boat-side connector confirms shore power is present before anyone starts checking breakers or equipment aboard.

Contour Grip shaping with a thumbprint locator aligns the blades before insertion, which matters when the inlet sits low or behind a hatch. The threaded ring works with ordinary threaded inlets, and Marinco's Easy Lock secures it to compatible Marinco inlets with a short turn instead. Explore more shore power cordsets and cables.

  • White, for a cord that is visible rather than hidden
  • Yellow shows better underfoot on a dark dock
  • Nickel-plated contacts resist corrosion at 50 amps
  • Threaded ring, with Easy Lock on Marinco inlets
