Marinco 50-Foot Yellow 50A 125V Shore Power Cable

The Marinco PowerCord Plus is 50 feet of yellow 6-gauge 50A cord at 125V single voltage, with a threaded ring connection.

This is the 125V single-voltage version, not the 125/250V dual. Amperage matches but the voltage does not, and a boat wired for 125/250V service needs the dual-voltage cord. That is the one specification worth checking twice, since the connectors look alike and the difference only shows once the cord is at the boat.

Heavy 6-gauge conductors handle the current demand of 50 amp service over a 50 foot run, and watertight molded ends protect the electrical connection. Those molded ends take the strain that a cord receives from being pulled, coiled and stepped on, which is where a shore cord usually fails.

An LED at the boat-side connector confirms shore power is present before anyone starts checking breakers or equipment aboard.
