The Marbles Wood Linerlock has a 3.25-inch satin stainless cleaver blade with a sculpted brown wood handle and a liner lock, opened by thumb stud.
A cleaver blade on a folder is a modern shape borrowed from the kitchen. The edge runs dead straight with no point at the front, which makes it excellent for cutting down onto a board or a surface and useless for piercing. That straight edge also means the whole length stays in contact with material through the cut, so it slices cardboard and cord in one pass rather than needing a sawing motion.
