The Marbles Riggers Knife has a satin sheepsfoot blade and a folding marlin spike in a brushed stainless frame with a bail, closing to 4.25 inches, covering the two things sailors have always needed from a pocketknife.
The marlin spike is why this pattern exists, a tapered steel pin for working rope: prying apart the strands of a laid line to splice it, and levering knots open once they have taken load and jammed solid. The sheepsfoot blade is the sailor's shape for the same reason it suits livestock work. With almost no point it cuts a line against a deck or a sail without stabbing through what lies underneath, which matters on a pitching boat.
