Magpul MBUS 3 FDE Flip-Up Backup Front Sight

The Magpul MBUS 3 Front Sight in Flat Dark Earth is the low-profile MBUS 3 flip-up front sight in a tan color for FDE rifles. It clamps to a Picatinny rail at the front of the handguard. Folded, it stays out of the way below most optics. FDE helps the sight blend into a tan rifle instead of standing out on the rail.

Its folded width is 1.38 inches, slim enough to leave room for lights and lasers mounted on nearby rails. It is made of impact-resistant polymer, which keeps it light and stops it from scratching the rail. The spring-loaded deployment is triggered by an ambidextrous button that works from either side. It weighs about 25 grams, so it adds almost nothing to the front of the rifle.

Zero the sight with the tool-less elevation adjustment, which clicks in about 1 MOA steps on a carbine-length sight radius. A matching FDE MBUS 3 rear sight completes the set. Mount it at the far front of the rail to get the longest sight radius you can. See the full line of FDE iron sights in our optics and rangefinders.
