Magpul MBUS 3 Black Flip-Up Backup Front Sight

The Magpul MBUS 3 Front Sight in black is Magpul's third-generation polymer flip-up backup front sight for Picatinny rails. It weighs about 25 grams and folds to 0.47 inch tall, much lower than earlier MBUS sights. An ambidextrous push button on top releases the spring and pops the sight up. It is made of impact-resistant polymer, so it stays light and does not scratch the rail.

Elevation adjusts without tools, a change from earlier MBUS front sights that needed an A2 sight tool. Each click moves about 1 MOA with a 14.5-inch sight radius and about 0.7 MOA with a 20-inch radius. The front post is a dual-width design taken from the MBUS Pro. Hand adjustment means you can zero the sight in the field without carrying a tool.

When deployed, it sits at standard AR sight height, so it co-witnesses with most red dots. Pair it with the MBUS 3 rear for a matched set. Black matches the majority of AR rails and uppers. Find the rear sight and other iron sights in our optics and rangefinders.
