Magpul DAKA Gray 3L Weather-Resistant Volume Pouch

The Magpul DAKA Volume Pouch in Gray is the 3-liter DAKA pouch in a neutral gray, a good color for sorting gear by color when you run several pouches. Many owners use one color per kit, such as gray for electronics, black for tools, and tan for medical gear. The debossed dot-matrix panel takes a paint pen for labeling contents. It is built from the same welded, polymer-infused fabric as the rest of the DAKA range.

The pouch is about 10.5 inches tall and 8.5 inches wide, and the gusseted base expands it to its full 3-liter volume. The wide mouth allows one-handed loading and unloading. Its welded construction has no stitching on any seam. The 7.5-inch AquaGuard zipper uses a water-repellent coating instead of a storm flap. A 550 paracord pull with heat-shrink tubing makes the zipper easy to work with gloves. The translucent window lets you check the contents without opening it. Empty, it folds nearly flat for packing. The pouch weighs only a couple of ounces.

A single large attachment point accepts a standard screw-gate or wire-gate carabiner, so you can clip it inside a bag or hang it from a hook. The same point works as a carry handle and as a lashing point on a pack or rack. The polymer-infused fabric resists chemicals and wipes clean. It is weather resistant but not designed for immersion.
