Magpul DAKA Takeout Large Black Storage Kit Bag

The Magpul DAKA Takeout Large in black is the bigger Takeout kit bag, with 8.88 liters of space in a bag about 12 by 6.5 by 9 inches. That is about two and a half times the volume of the standard Takeout. It is large enough for a full cleaning kit, a camp cook set, or a day's worth of range supplies. The polymer-infused fabric keeps its shape, so the bag stands up even when partly empty. The extra room fits items too tall or wide for the standard pouches, such as a spray can of cleaner or a compact cook pot.

An 18.5-inch YKK AquaGuard zipper runs the full length of the top. Two quick-release buckles on each side can be undone for a taller, wider opening, and the bag also has two carry handles on top. With the straps unbuckled, you can hang the bag from a branch, rack, or hook. The zipper pull is wrapped in 550 paracord and heat-shrink tubing for grip. Its four buckles let you adjust the width of the opening to suit what is inside.

Every seam is RF welded, and the polymer-infused fabric is chemical resistant and does not soak up water. The anti-slip texture keeps it from sliding around in a truck bed or boat locker. It weighs about 14 ounces empty. Black keeps it understated. It resists rain and spray, but it is not a dry bag for submersion. Use it as a car emergency kit for jumper cables, a tire gauge, gloves, and a flashlight. On the boat, it keeps dock lines, a horn, and flares together. At camp, it keeps a cook kit, fuel canister, and utensils in one bag that can hang from a tree away from the ground. Rinse off mud and sand with fresh water.
