Magpul DAKA XL 9.8 x 16.2 in Black Utility Pouch

The Magpul DAKA XL Pouch in black is an extra-large flat pouch that measures 9.8 by 16.2 inches. It is made of Magpul's polymer-infused fabric with an anti-slip texture, and every seam is welded. Welded seams seal the pouch on every side. The polymer-infused fabric is chemical resistant and does not absorb water.

A YKK AquaGuard zipper closes the top and keeps out rain and spray. The zipper pull is 550 paracord wrapped in heat-shrink tubing, so it is easy to grab with gloves on. Carabiner attachment points let you clip the pouch into a larger bag or hang it on a hook. A pouch this size is a good way to keep a full set of hand tools from rattling around in a truck box. The pouch is thin when empty, so it adds little bulk to a bag.

The XL size is long enough for tools, a tablet and charger, or a set of cleaning rods. A paint-pen dot matrix is debossed on the body so you can mark what is inside. Black blends with most gear. It keeps gear dry in most wet weather but is not meant to go underwater. Because it is flat, it slides easily into the back of a pack or a seat pocket. It is long enough for a cleaning rod section, a bore snake, and patches in one place. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Magpul also makes it in FDE and gray if you want to sort by color.
