Magpul DAKA XL 9.8 x 16.2 in FDE Utility Pouch

The Magpul DAKA XL Pouch in FDE is the extra-large DAKA pouch in a tan color, 9.8 by 16.2 inches. FDE stands out against black range bags and dark vehicle interiors, so you can find it quickly. The fabric is polymer infused and textured to resist slipping. At 16.2 inches long, it holds items that will not fit in the standard DAKA pouches. Every seam is welded rather than stitched.

Magpul lists bulk storage of reloaded ammunition as one use, since the pouch holds loose rounds or boxes and keeps them dry. It is also a good fit for hand tools, spare parts, and electronics accessories. Mark the debossed panel with a paint pen so you know what is inside without opening it. A pouch this size also works for camp tools, such as a hatchet, saw, and stakes. The pouch is a sturdy alternative to cardboard ammo boxes that break down in damp conditions.

The seams are welded, and a YKK AquaGuard zipper seals the top. Its carabiner points let you clip it inside a bag so it does not shift around. The paracord pull with heat-shrink tubing is easy to grip. It keeps out rain but should not be submerged. It is flat enough to slide into the back panel of most packs. The fabric resists chemicals, so solvents and oils wipe off. Black and gray versions are also available. Shop the full DAKA pouch line in our camp accessories.
