The LionSTEEL M3 has a 4.13-inch satin Niolox tool steel blade with a full tang at 9.25 inches overall, a green canvas Micarta handle and a leather sheath. Made in Italy.

Niolox is a German tool steel with niobium added, which forms very hard fine carbides. The result holds an edge like a tool steel while resisting corrosion far better than most, a combination that suits a knife carried outdoors and not always dried. Canvas Micarta is fabric layered in resin, and it grips harder as hands get damp, the opposite of how polished wood or smooth plastic behave.
