The Lewmar Pro-Series 700 windlass kit combines a 12V horizontal windlass with the main electrical controls needed for a complete installation. The 316 stainless steel housing is designed for corrosion resistance above deck, and the DIY-ready horizontal layout makes the unit accessible for installation, use, and routine service on boats up to 32 ft.
The windlass is rated for a maximum pull of 700 lb and a maximum line speed of 82 ft/min. It accepts chain up to 1/4 in and rope up to 1/2 in, with push-button powered operation for regular anchoring. A built-in manual emergency recovery feature provides a backup method of retrieving the anchor if electrical power is unavailable.
