Kleen-Bore SAF-T-CLAD Universal Cleaning Rod Set

Kleen-Bore SAF-T-CLAD Universal Cleaning Rod Set combines coated steel rod sections into a 30-inch working-length system for a wide range of firearms. Kleen-Bore specifies the set for .22 through .45 caliber handguns and rifles as well as all shotgun gauges. The red SAF-T-CLAD coating is applied over solid steel to provide a smooth surface between the rod and the bore.

The five-section rod uses a swivel handle and includes an adapter for common 8-32 threaded accessories. A red coated patch holder, brass shotgun adapter, and slotted shotgun patch holder are included so the rod can work with both rifle or handgun accessories and shotgun-size cleaning components. The sectional format breaks down for more compact storage than a one-piece rifle rod.

This set is useful when one cleaning-rod system needs to cover several firearms rather than being dedicated to a single caliber. Its broad compatibility makes it a practical bench or range-kit component, provided the correct caliber or gauge accessory is selected before the rod is passed through the bore.
