Kleen-Bore SAF-T-CLAD Universal Cleaning Kit

Kleen-Bore SAF-T-CLAD Universal Cleaning Kit is designed to cover firearms from .22 caliber through 12 gauge with one coated-rod system. Red SAF-T-CLAD steel rod sections assemble to a 32.5-inch working length and use the smooth resin coating to keep bare steel away from the bore. A detachable swivel T-handle lets the assembled rod rotate during a cleaning stroke.

The universal kit includes a coated .22-.45 caliber patch holder plus a brass shotgun-thread adapter and all-gauge shotgun patch holder, so it can transition from handgun and rifle work to shotgun cleaning. A muzzle guard, nylon utility brush, red bore light, cotton patches, and microfiber cloth cover the supporting maintenance tasks. Kleen-Bore also supplies a half-ounce Mil-Spec CLP bottle and a CLP wipe powered by BreakFree.

This kit is useful for a mixed-firearm collection because the core rod and accessories can stay together instead of maintaining separate general-purpose kits for each platform. The actual brush, jag, or patch holder should still be matched to the caliber or gauge being cleaned before it enters the bore.
