Description

The Klaken Virex has a 3.54-inch D2 drop point blade in satin and black with a wine G10 handle and a liner lock.

This is the drop point in wine where the other wine Virex runs a tanto, and the blade shape is the whole difference. A drop point slices where a tanto pierces. For anyone choosing between the two, the drop point is the one to take unless the knife is going to meet hard material at the tip regularly.

D2 holds a working edge far longer than the budget stainless usual at this price, and it needs to be dried after it gets wet. Wine is a dark burgundy rather than a bright red, and the color runs through the G10 so it cannot chip or fade. Explore more Modern EDC Linerlocks.

  • Drop point rather than the tanto in the same wine handle
  • Slices where the tanto pierces
  • The one to take unless the tip meets hard material
  • 3.54-inch D2 blade on a liner lock
