Description

The Klaken Virex has a 3.54-inch D2 drop point blade in satin and black with a blue G10 handle and a liner lock.

Blue is the one Virex color with no working justification behind it. Green suits the outdoors, black disappears, wine stays muted, and blue is simply the one people pick because they like it. That is a reasonable basis for choosing a knife, and G10 takes the color through the material rather than on the surface so it will not chip or fade.

The drop point sits the tip below the spine line for control, with a long belly behind it for slicing. D2 holds a working edge far longer than budget stainless, and it needs to be dried after it gets wet. Explore more Modern EDC Linerlocks.

  • Blue is chosen for looks rather than function
  • Color runs through the G10 and cannot chip
  • Drop point covers general cutting
  • 3.54-inch D2 blade on a liner lock
