The Klaken J367 Black Aluminum Hi-Carbon Utility Folding Knife is an ultralight utility folder at about 1.3 oz (37 g). The short blade keeps cuts controlled, which matters when you are opening boxes and do not want to slice into what is inside. It is built for repetitive work like breaking down cardboard, cutting banding, trimming insulation and opening packaging.

The high-carbon blade takes a keen edge and comes back quickly on a stone, which helps on a knife that dulls fast against abrasive cardboard and packaging. High-carbon steel can rust or darken if it is left wet, so wipe it dry after use and add a drop of oil now and then. A gray patina that forms over time is normal and actually helps protect the steel.

The handle is light and rigid, and it slips into a pocket, apron or tool pouch without bulk. Keep one at the receiving dock, in the warehouse or in a work van so a sharp blade is always within reach.
