Jabsco HotShot HD6 24V 6-GPM Washdown Pump

The Jabsco HotShot HD6 24V Washdown Pump (part P602J-219N-3A) delivers the top HotShot flow of about 6 gallons per minute on 24-volt systems. Large sportfishing yachts and commercial boats that run 24V can use it without a voltage converter. Running at 24V roughly halves the current compared with the 12V model, which helps on long wire runs to a bow locker.

The pump has the HD series heavy duty motor, co-molded diaphragm, and EPDM check valves. It can run dry without damage, which matters when the intake briefly sucks air in a seaway. Quick-connect ports and a quick-connect strainer make removing it for service much easier.

Pick a mounting spot with solid backing and use the vibration-dampening feet to keep pump noise out of the cabins. Fit hoses and nozzles rated for the pump's full pressure. In cold climates, drain the pump, strainer, and hoses before the first freeze. The 12V HD6 and other HotShot pumps are in our fresh water and washdown pumps.
