Jabsco HotShot HD6 12V 6-GPM Washdown Pump with Hose

The Jabsco HotShot HD6 Washdown Pump with Hose moves 6 GPM at 70 PSI on 12V, the higher-flow step up from the HD5. It comes with a 25-foot HoseCoil, a trigger nozzle, and quick-connect hose adapters. A powder-coated motor shell with cast aluminum end bells is built for high-pressure work, and the co-molded diaphragm is made for long life. It self-primes from 7 feet dry, runs dry without damage, and is rated IPX6.

The extra gallon per minute over the HD5 makes a noticeable difference when rinsing a large cockpit or hosing mud off an anchor chain. The integrated, sealed pressure switch starts the pump when you squeeze the nozzle and stops it when you let go. Many boaters plumb it to a raw-water through-hull with a seacock, saving the freshwater tank for drinking and showers.

A 90-degree, 20-mesh quick-connect strainer is included, and inlet pressure should stay below 30 PSI. Flush the pump with fresh water after saltwater use. Compare it with the HD5 kit in our bilge and water pumps.
