Jabsco HotShot HD5 12V 5-GPM 70-PSI Washdown Pump

The Jabsco HotShot HD5 12V Washdown Pump (part P501J-119N-3A) moves about 5 gallons per minute and reaches up to 70 psi. That higher pressure helps clear mud from an anchor chain or blood and scales from a fishing cockpit. It is a step up from the HD4 for boats that use washdown heavily.

The HD build includes a heavy duty motor, cast aluminum lower housing, and co-molded diaphragm for long life. It self-primes from dry, so the pump can be mounted in a convenient, dry location above the waterline. Its sealed pressure switch makes it work on demand whenever the nozzle is open.

Check that hoses and nozzles are rated for 70 psi before installing. A strainer on the intake keeps sand and weed out of the check valves. Flush with fresh water after use in salt water, and protect the pump from freezing. Find other HotShot pumps in our fresh water and washdown pumps.
