The Jabsco Deluxe Flush 14-Inch Straight Back Freshwater Toilet (part 58080-3012) puts a vitreous china Deluxe Flush bowl into heads that are too tight for the 17-inch household-height model. The straight back is made to sit flush against a vertical bulkhead. A solenoid valve controls rinse water from the boat's pressurized freshwater system.

Freshwater rinsing means there is no marine growth in the intake line, which is the usual cause of the sulfur smell in raw water heads. The kit includes a siphon breaker so toilet water cannot travel back into the potable lines. In dry-bowl mode, a quick flush uses under a liter, and a Fill before use adds about 2.5 liters.

The toilet needs a freshwater pump that can deliver around 11 liters per minute, so check the existing pump's rating before ordering. Hose sizes are 3/4 inch for the water supply and 1-1/2 inch for discharge, and the 12V version uses a 25 amp fuse. The soft-close lid lowers itself quietly, which helps at night on a small boat.
