Jabsco Ballast King Bronze 15-GPM Deutsch Connector Pump

The Jabsco Ballast King Bronze 15-GPM Deutsch Connector Pump is the reversible bronze Ballast King fitted with a Deutsch connector. It moves about 15 GPM to fill or empty wake tanks, so one pump handles both jobs. The bronze body stands up to the constant wet use of a ballast system.

Many wake and surf boats are wired with Deutsch connectors, which seal against water and lock together so the connection cannot work loose. A pump with the matching connector plugs straight into the factory harness with no cutting or splicing, which keeps the connection waterproof. Check that your boat's harness uses a matching Deutsch plug before ordering. The neoprene impeller and bronze housing hold up to the frequent wet starts a ballast system goes through every time the boat is set up for riding.

After installing, test both fill and empty directions with the boat in the water. Inspect the impeller at the start of each season and replace it if the vanes are cracked or worn. The switch-included and no-switch versions are in our bilge and water pumps.
