Description

The Jabsco 1-Inch Anti-Siphon Vented Loop Fitting is an anti-siphon safety fitting for compatible marine toilet plumbing installed below the waterline or in positions where vessel heel can place the fixture below the outside water level. Its vented-loop design interrupts siphon action that could otherwise allow water to continue flowing into the boat.

The loop is installed at the high point of the relevant intake or discharge hose run according to the sanitation-system layout. Correct hose size and elevation are essential because the fitting only gives protection when the plumbing is routed above the waterline as specified.

Confirm hose diameter, loop height, installation location, vent access, and compatibility with the toilet plumbing before installation. Follow the manufacturer's diagrams for intake or discharge placement, keep the vent clear, and inspect the fitting periodically for blockage, leakage, or deterioration. Have a look at the rest of our marine toilets and sanitation systems.

  • The vented loop breaks continuous water flow in vulnerable below-waterline plumbing.
  • The fitting is designed for compatible intake or discharge sanitation lines.
  • Proper placement above the waterline is critical to its function.
  • Accessible installation makes vent inspection easier.
