Icom Black IC-M330 Compact Fixed Mount VHF Radio

The Icom IC-M330 packs a full-featured fixed-mount VHF into a genuinely compact body, measuring just 6.2 x 2.6 x 4.3 inches so it fits into a helm with little room to spare. Despite the small footprint, it puts out a full 25 watts of transmit power, the maximum a fixed-mount VHF is allowed to run, so range isn't traded away for size.

Built-in Class D DSC keeps watch on Channel 70 continuously, even while the radio is tuned to another channel, so a distress call from a nearby vessel never goes unheard. This model's built-in GPS receiver pairs with the included external GPS antenna to pull position, bearing, and speed from GPS, GLONASS, and SBAS, feeding that data directly into its DSC calls.

An IPX7 waterproof rating plus Icom's AquaQuake function, which buzzes water off the speaker grille, keep it working in wet conditions, and it supports Class B AIS transponder integration through the optional MA-500TR for boats that want AIS traffic shown and called through the radio. Tag scan, favorite channels, dual/tri-watch, priority scan, and a selectable 3 or 4-digit channel display round out day-to-day use, and the included HM-235B hand mic puts channel up/down and the CH16/Call key right at the operator's hand.
