Description
The HydroGlow FL-50 is an above-water dock flood light in white, drawing 0.5A at 50W on 120V.
White is the general-purpose version, and it does something the colored lights do not: it lights the dock itself as well as the water. For a dock where people walk, tie up and handle gear after dark, that dual duty is often worth more than the fish-attracting advantage of green.
The FL-50 uses a tighter beam than the DM260 strip lights, suiting a dock set high above the water where a wide flood would spread its output across the structure. That focus gives greater depth of penetration than a wide floodlight manages at the same wattage.
Half an amp at 50W is a low enough draw that several fixtures share one circuit, which is usually the constraint on lighting a long dock. White also shows true colors on the dock surface, where green or blue makes everything read wrong underfoot. Explore more deck, spreader and flood lights.
- White lights the dock as well as the water
- Useful where people walk and tie up after dark
- Tighter beam than the DM260 strip lights
- 0.5A at 50W, several to a circuit
