Description
The HydroGlow DM260B is an above-water dock fishing light, 4 feet long with a 20 inch cord and a dual row of high-output blue LEDs.
Blue suits clear water, which is where it beats green. In clean saltwater and spring-fed lakes blue travels further and produces the pale glow most people picture when they think of a dock light. In stained or tannic water it is the wrong choice, and the green DM260G will do considerably more.
A 120V to 12V power supply keeps voltage safely low at the fixture, which matters on something mounted over water and handled wet. The low profile allows almost any dock position, and the brackets mount quickly with the fixture clicking in afterward. Explore more deck, spreader and flood lights.
- Blue travels further in clear and salt water
- The wrong choice in stained or tannic water
- Green outperforms it wherever water is colored
- 4 feet long with a 20 inch cord, above water
