Hornady TrekLite TSA Combination Handgun Lock Box

Hornady TrekLite TSA Combination Handgun Lock Box is a portable storage box built around an impact-resistant polycarbonate shell and a protective rubber overmold. The lighter construction makes it easier to pack than a comparable steel box while still providing a dedicated enclosure for a handgun or other valuables. Its black-and-gray finish matches the supplier-listed configuration in this batch.

A four-digit TSA-recognized combination lock provides code access without requiring the user to carry a key for normal opening. Hornady also includes a security cable rated to 1,500 pounds so the box can be tethered to a stationary point when the storage location allows it. The cable connector is designed to conserve interior space instead of taking up a large portion of the cavity.

This standard TrekLite model is appropriate when a compact travel-oriented lock box is preferred over the larger XXL version. The user should check firearm fit and all applicable transportation requirements before relying on any portable safe for a particular trip.
