Hornady Security Large Keyed Handgun Lock Box

Hornady Security Large Keyed Handgun Lock Box provides portable steel storage for a handgun or other valuables at home, in a vehicle, or while traveling. The 16-gauge steel housing uses a barrel-style key lock and includes two keys. Hornady sizes the Large model to fit most pistols with 4-inch barrels and some 4-inch revolvers.

A four-foot steel security cable rated to 1,500 pounds lets the box be tethered to a stationary object such as a vehicle-seat structure or heavy furniture. Hornady’s space-saving cable receiver is designed to preserve more of the interior for the stored item. Premium foam lines the box so the handgun or other contents are not resting directly against bare steel.

This Large model is useful when a compact keyed box is preferred over an electronic vault and a cable anchor is available at the storage location. Firearm fit should be checked against the box before travel or routine use, especially with larger grips, optics, or other accessories attached.
