The 4 inch SG-2 powder steel blade with satin finish is one of the most capable blade steels available in a production folder — SG-2 is a super-clean powder metallurgy steel that achieves hardness levels and edge retention that standard stainless cannot approach, while maintaining enough toughness for real use. The Ziricote wood handle is a dense, fine-grained tropical hardwood from Mexico and Central America with a distinctive dark grain pattern that ranges from chocolate brown to near-black with spider web figuring that makes each handle visually unique.
