The Hella Marine NaviLED PRO Port Navigation Lamp is a 3NM lamp in a black shroud, drawing under 3.2 watts.

Port and starboard lamps are not interchangeable, and this one is made specifically for the port side. The lens color and the light's arc of visibility are both fixed to the side it mounts on, so a port lamp fitted to starboard shows the wrong color through the wrong sector.

Black shroud suits a dark hull or superstructure where the white version would stand out. Both are the same lamp otherwise, and the choice is purely about how the fixture looks against the boat in daylight.

Under 3.2 watts is a low draw for 3NM visibility, and with no filament to break the lamp is shock and vibration proof.
