The Hella Marine NaviLED PRO Port Navigation Lamp is a 2NM lamp in a black shroud, covering vessel requirements up to 50 meters.
Two nautical miles covers vessels up to 50 meters, and 3NM is the rating required above that length. The NaviLED PRO line spans both, so the range rating rather than the model name is what has to match the vessel. Fitting 2NM on a boat over 50 meters is a compliance failure.
This is the PRO line, built to a heavier standard than the standard NaviLED range and proven in commercial and military service. For a recreational boat the standard line is usually appropriate, and the PRO version is what a working vessel or a boat used hard justifies.
