Hella Slim Line Blue Stainless LED Courtesy Light

The Hella Slim Line courtesy lamp is designed to add low-level accent lighting to steps, walkways, cabins, and deck areas without creating harsh glare. Advanced lens geometry spreads the light smoothly so the fixture can guide movement after dark without becoming a distracting bright point. The LED source runs cool, which is useful when the lamp is installed in lightweight panels or close to trim materials that would not tolerate the heat of an incandescent bulb. Its compact form lets builders place courtesy lighting in areas where a larger dome or downlight would be intrusive.

The lamp is completely sealed and engineered to resist shock, impact, and vibration in marine use. A 120 mm prewired lead keeps the electrical connection simple, while the supplied surface ring and three screws secure the fixture without requiring a bulky rear housing. The optical design provides significantly more useful light than Hella lower-output courtesy fixtures while drawing less than 0.5 watt. It can also be paired with a compatible Hella dimmer when lower nighttime output is preferred, and the complete fixture with cable weighs about 50 g.

Because the fixture is suitable for both interior and exterior use, the same style can be carried from cabin spaces into protected cockpit and deck areas. That consistency helps a refit look intentional instead of pieced together from unrelated lights. The sealed construction also reduces routine maintenance because there is no bulb holder to open or corroded contact to clean. During installation, aim the lamp so it illuminates the walking surface rather than shining directly into seated or standing eye level.

• Soft optical spread supports low-glare nighttime movement
• Cool-running LED design is suitable for lightweight panel materials
• Sealed housing resists shock, vibration, and marine exposure
• Prewired lead simplifies the final connection
• Compatible with a suitable Hella dimming control

Use courtesy lighting as part of a layered onboard lighting plan so pathways remain visible without flooding the entire cabin or cockpit. A clean installation also makes future inspection and service easier because the connections remain accessible and organized.
