Hella Marine 24V White LED Surface Strip Light

The Hella surface strip lamp provides a slim alternative to bulky fluorescent fixtures for cabins, worktops, bulkheads, bait stations, and other narrow mounting areas. Its low-profile body sits close to the surface and distributes useful illumination along a longer footprint than a small courtesy lamp. The lamp produces about 250 lumens with a CRI rating of 85, giving useful output and accurate color rendering over charts, food-preparation areas, tackle stations, or general cabin work. Because the switch is not built into this version, the installer can control the lamp from an existing panel switch or a separately located control.

The housing is molded from UV-resistant acrylic and is designed for saltwater durability, vibration, impact, and shock. Snap-on end caps cover the mounting fasteners after installation, leaving a cleaner finished appearance. The lamp is completely sealed, so it can be used in wet or dry areas without the exposed bulb and end-cap issues associated with fluorescent fixtures. A 500 mm prewired twin-core cable also reduces the amount of wiring work required directly at the lamp.

The strip light can be paired with a compatible Hella dimmer when adjustable output is needed. Its efficiency and long LED life make it well suited to fixtures that may remain on for extended periods at night. The sealed, low-profile construction also makes the lamp a good replacement when an older fluorescent unit is taking up too much space. The strip light carries CE approval, and Hella backs the family with a five-year warranty.
