Hella Sea Hawk XLR White LED Marine Floodlight

The Hella Sea Hawk XLR floodlight is designed to deliver strong work-area illumination without the bulky metal housing common to older marine floodlights. Its optical system spreads light across a cockpit, foredeck, or working area while controlling glare that can make night tasks harder rather than easier. A high-output setting delivers about 1,300 lumens for demanding deck work, and an integrated low setting provides a softer level when full intensity is unnecessary. That built-in dimming gives the fixture more flexibility without requiring a separate two-level lamp.

The housing is injection molded from a thermally conductive ceramic polymer that carries heat away from the electronics without using an aluminum body. Removing aluminum from the main housing also removes a common corrosion path in saltwater installations. A Grilamid lens and polished stainless mounting bracket complete the exterior package for demanding use on boats. The fixture is prewired with 0.5 m of triple-core marine cable, helping keep the final connection away from the housing and reducing installation time.

The internal electronics are designed to maintain stable illumination during voltage fluctuations and low-battery conditions. The fixture is tested to CE and RCM requirements and uses a 5000K color temperature for crisp task illumination. Its combination of thermal management, corrosion resistance, and controlled optics makes it useful on fishing boats, workboats, and cruising vessels.
