Description

At 2-1/2 in, this is the largest GROCO engine flush kit in the group, made for compatible 2-1/2 in seacocks on big diesel and gas inboards. It gives the seacock a quarter-turn service port for flushing, winterizing, and emergency bilge pumping. The kit is bronze.

High-flow raw water systems take a lot of antifreeze and time to winterize, and a dedicated port makes the process cleaner. Close the seacock, remove the quick-release plug, and connect the included adaptor. Afterward, reinstall the plug to return to normal operation.

Installed and operated per GROCO's instructions, the port can also let the running engine pull water from the bilge in an emergency. Confirm the seacock size and installation orientation before fitting it. Browse more Marine Plumbing for seacocks and strainers.
